We believe our children are a very important part of the Church. In today’s world of confusing choices and unspiritual influences, the Church plays a key role in teaching kids about the Bible and how to live as a true disciple of Jesus, standing firm in the faith and making good choices in life.

Our children and youth programs are focused on connecting with our children and youth and bringing them solid, biblical teaching. We use storytelling, acting, games, crafts, and other activities to make learning fun and really memorable. Our teachers are dedicated to educating our youth and providing a healthy environment for them.

We screen our teachers and only permit qualified individuals who have attended SVCC for over 2 years. We follow strict policies of always having two adults in a room or otherwise ensure the doors are always open.

Wednesday Night
“The Edge” : fun youth activities with contemporary and relevant messages for teens.
Meets at 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Church.

Concerts
From time to time we will have special events that bring excellent contemporary Christian bands to our church. Previously we’ve had bands such as “Out of Ruin”, “Peculiar People”, and “Transistor Radio”. See our bulletins for more information about upcoming concerts.

Liability / Release Form for Field Trips
Occasionally, the youth group will go to events outside the church and transportation will be required. Please download and fill out the liability / release form if your child will attend an outside event.
